Lesson Presentations Round 2

Crystal Richardson,
I commend you for choosing middle school science for your content area! I was always one that struggled in science in school unless it was something math related, like Physics or Chemistry. Your first lesson sounds really fun and interesting! Something a non-science kid wouldn't mind doing :)

Michelle Perry,
I love second grade! One of the areas I would like to teach in. I'm sorry you had so many difficulties tonight! I think fun math sheets are a great way to get kids to engage in math. It might make them feel like they aren't even doing math...

Carman Seay,
Your presentation was so cute! What exactly is the app Frontrow again? I heard you mention it, but I didn't catch what exactly it was. Overall, I think your lesson plan is really thought out and very detailed. I think students would succeed after you would teach this lesson.

  1. Front row is an assessment app, you can assign the students lessons from the Missouri learning standards and you can view how they did, how long it takes them to do the work, and what areas they need practice on or where they need enrichment. It's really cool I just learned about it from my cooperating teacher.

  2. Rachel,
I feel that tonight the lesson plan presentations went pretty smoothly with a few technological difficulties. One of my favorite things from all of the presentations tonight is the app that Carman chose to use in her lesson plan. I looked it up and it looks really cool and that it would be more interactive and fun for the students.
